hey guys, whenever I copy something and paste anything (ie address, web links, text, etc...) i have no problem copying it but when i paste, it always pastes 2 of them... anyone know how i can fix this... not a major issue... but more annoying if anything...
example of paste:

Does it happen if you use the right-click paste? Or the ctrl+v paste? Both? Or only one of those two and not the other?
Maybe a bad mouse button or v key. I'm assuming a reboot did not do the trick.

Maybe the reboot helped? ;)

I once had my keyboard die at a critical stage at work (unix)... I was able to use the mouse to cut and paste individual characters that were already on my screen to complete a few commands and finish my job!

Ah.... ok, first step then... get one of those cans of air and blowout all the cheetos bits and salt from underneath the keys. It may help... seriously.

I guess this is one place Windows has an advantage: Start/All Programs/Accessories/Accessibility/On-Screen Keyboard

I wonder, does it also happen with the CTRL+Z key for undo? Does it undo two steps instead of one? Or is it limited to the V key?
Good luck... that's about all I have on this one.
Dave.
