Of course it is a joke! What engineers would, in their right mind, attempt to make gears from 24k gold?? Those gears would be so soft that they would be like melted butter just seconds after the ignition was turned! hehe :laugh:

I don't know coleslaw, if engineers can design a car that looks like that, I wouldn't put it past them to try to make gears out of gold. :eek:
Now the gold wiring on the other hand. . . not such a bad idea.
Personally, I'de melt the car down and make jewelrey out of it.
