Anyone have any interesting plans? Are you staying home, hitting the slopes, sunning yourself on a nude beach, or hiding in the shrubs with the binoculars watching Nickel on said beach? Visiting the fam? Being invaded by the Fam? Going hunting for some reindeer? You get the picture.

I figure with the holiday season fast approaching people should know what they are doing and it might be interesting to see what is going on.

As for me. Well, this is sad, but I will be studying. Of course, I will be studying in Florida possibly on a beach, but I will still be studying. This is "my" turn for the holidays so we are heading back east to Florida for a few weeks. I am hoping that there will be some family surprise trip, but because we are expecting it...it wont happen.

Yep...loads of fun. So what about everyone else?

There's a holiday? Why didn't I get the memo?!?

I might be working, I might have time off, I might visit some local family. Hopefully I will be able to take a nap.

Stay home and host the family. Looks like we're going to rotisserie a prime rib roast for the big feast on Christmas. Yummmmmy.

Um, Lights. Even Scrooge took at least part of a day for the holidays. :)

Seriously though, if you want to use your powers to add a just working choice, by all means, go for it.

But we would miss you !:woohoo:

Why does that woohoo seem to indicate that you WOULDNT miss him? Time from someone to check that the someone isnt a blackwidow.

Driving 7 hours north to see my family in Auburn AND go skiing for a week with my brother who will be on leave from the Army during Christmas. We're only 45 minutes to an hour from the slopes where I grew up so it makes it nice and easy. :D

well lets see we will do Christmas with BJ's parents on Thurseday evening, and then we will do Christmas with my Stepdad's family on Saturday night, we will do Christmas with my mom on Sunday morning like 7 am, and then off to my Grandma's at 9am we will have breakfast and lunch there too. Then we will come home at like 1 or 2 and do our Christmas with the kids.

Then the following weekend we will head to Indiana and stay with BJ's Aunt and Uncle, and visit all the other Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and Have a long weekend. He is taking off Thurseday and Friday and he gets MOnday off as well.

SO very busy as always.

We're flying to NY on Christmas Day and should be to my parent's by dinner. Regretfully, while the wife and kids are staying until 1/4, I'm flying back to FL on the 28th -- all alone -- what a loser.

I'm taking over Christmas eve duties for my mom, and cooking dinner for the family plus the usual strays...at last count 19 with more confirmations coming daily. Christmas day when the kids go to their dad's, I'm opening a bottle of wine and unplugging the phone!

Obby, if you are reading this, you need to invent a party planner/calculator. I want to be able to input my recipes and have it tell me when I need to start everything in order to have it all done in time. I pulled off Thanksgiving dinner, but this one is going to be much bigger.

Don't you think your co-workers will object to your shooting them with a paint ball gun while they are supposed to be working?:fal:

well change the plans, my car just crapped out on us so we have no way to get around with all 4 of us at one time so we won't be going to indiana this year anymore.
