Yep....its cold out. We have a hard frost advisory here in San Diego. For all those people who think San Diego is warm......wrong answer. Then again I guess not hitting freezing is considered warm in some areas of the country.

We were at -9F this morning -- now we're at -2 (but we're supposed to warm up towards the weekend. (Of course, "warm up" means up to 40-50 degrees).

Weather channel.com (weather.com) or some of the local news stations will give you better results. Any person who lives in San Diego would be aware of our lovely micro-climates. Coastal/inland/desert/mountain and then all the subdivisions of those areas as well. The weater in No.Co. San Diego vs. Old town vs. PB can differ by 10+ degrees.

There's a huge range of measurements in temperature in SD depending on where you're from. Thanks for the lecture.

If you think that is a lecture, you may want to seek psychiatric help as you obviously have a persecution complex. You are the one who "emphasized" google as your source....I merely pointed out the problems that result from not going to a weather specializing site. Generally when someone questions a source its because the information that was given varies drastically from what one already knows and wants to discover the source of the discrepancy.

I walked around yesterday in shorts and a t-shirt. Not that it wasn't chilly, but it was worth more to get stared at by people, and then talk down on the wusses who've never lived outside California. It's when you run into the midwesterners and they cluck their tongues at you that you feel like a poser. Fortunately, I didn't run into them.

Well, this a.m. it was 0 degrees where I live, -10 where I work (15 miles west of my home). But they say a heat wave is coming and it will be up to 32 on Saturday! :)

This is early for this kind of cold. Colorado (where Cubsfan is) will often hit and stay below zero for about a week to ten days in January. I remember walking to school in ten below and over a foot of snow (it is too cold to snow but it is also too cold to melt what is already there) two miles in each direction. I had ice on my eyebrows, two pairs of pants and a hat and scarf on my face. Now in San Diego I laugh when people complain about it getting "cold" here! Cold is when you don't wear shorts- not when your eyes freeze shut! I did not even use a heater out here.

LOL, persecution complex? I pretty much reiterated what you were trying to explain about weather in SD and etc...You seem to have the persecution complex if you think I'm trying to make a personal attack. I mean it with all due respect, "thanks for the lecture" on accurate and reliable weather news update.

Chula Vista, CA 91911 .. You would sure think it's colder than that. Considering when I lived in Oklahoma this wasn't even really considered "Cold" just a "Little chilly" But here it's considered "Put on all of your clothes if you are going outside or you might die" :)

I like cold weather though. I would much rather be in oklahoma and have snow or something else cool. I hate hot weather.
