Anyone seen Whitak24 around?

I havent seen Whitak24 around on the board or on IM in a while? Anyone heard from him. I figure he must be in his 3L year now which could explain this disappearance because I most certainly didnt post nearly as much as I do now when I was still a student.

I'm guessing he's got a time-devouring internship with some firm or organization.

ummm...I think they were already dating. I didn't hook them up. I just knew my cousin and whitak were taking because my brother (graingerguy) told me.

hey yall.

just wanted to check in and say hi and that i'm doing fine. also, thanks to all of you who have been visiting my blog. i appreciate the traffic.

i only wish my blog was a clever and funny as those written by welfare and IAHAD.

i haven't been posting in awhile.....partly because i've been busy. but frankly, the forum wasn't really satisfying me anymore. everything had become too predictable -- you could post a topic and i could tell you who was going to respond, and what they were going to say. besides that, some of the people who i respected most had disappeared over the years.

most importantly, i wanted a different type of avenue to exercise my creativity, which is why i started the blog. it allows me more flexibility to talk about what is most interesting to me, even though those things might not be interesting to the forum as a whole.

but i certainly didn't leave with any hard feelings. unlike some people, i didn't feel any need to make a "farewell" announcemnet, because i wasn't planning to leave forever, and i didn't think my ceasing to post for awhile was necessary of a big fanfare.

oh, by the way, just to clear this up:

i met cheesy/graingerguy's cousin about a year and a half ago. she and i got to be good friends. then i broke up with my GF in early 2005.

around that time, c/g's cousin was talking about how her cousin was coming to NYC to visit. she was talking a little bit about him, and his family. now because of various things that they had said in the forums, i started making connections and came to the "oh s*** it's a small world" realization that she was related to c/g.

so gg and i pm-ed before he came to NYC and figured out that in fact we were connected through his cousin. of course, we didn't tell her until he got out there. it freaked her out pretty good. it was hella funny.

anyway, a couple months after that, i started dating her, and we've been happily together since.
