What do Google Employees Do?

I have often wondered how they spend their day.

Do they contact potential customers? Do they refine searches? Do they sip flavored latte all day long?

I vote for the last one, or counting their money. My friends sister works for then, and it sounds like they have it good over there.

They do get 20% of their time to work on "fun stuff". Basically, whatever they want to work on. I think this is where a lot of their innovation comes from. I think Google Groups, map, news, etc... came from stuff worked on during their free time.

When will they have google vacation time, and ping pong? My friend said the day his sister got hired, she got an automatic 2 weeks of paid vacation off.
