A Queen's teenager will not be spending any time in jail after killing her friend in a drunk driving accident.

Jennifer Grabowski, 19, has been ordered to pay a $500 fine, attend a drinking and driving program, and will lose her license for 90 days after pleading guilty to driving while impaired and trespassing.

Grabowski and her friend, 18-year-old Betina Madrid were driving home from a restaurant on Grand Central Parkway last month when their SUV flipped.

Madrid was thrown from the vehicle and died.

Not neccessarily. Many years ago I had a friend who was killed when in the car with his friend, who was driving drunk. Both were in their early/mid 20s.

The driver was emotionally destroyed.

The parents of the guy who died actually asked the judge for leniancy. They felt that the driver was already suffering horribly, and they didn't want to see his life go to waste, just because their son's life was wasted.

And we wonder why cops crack down on college kids drinking parties.
