So I was at the House Of Blues in Hollywood this weekend and they only offer valet parking. My car was so dirty i never noticed the 2 one foot lines of scratches on my bumper until today when I was washing it. It looks like it was backed into a stucco wall. I called the valet company and they said that I have to go back to the House of Blues in Hollywood and file forms with the valet manager who was on duty, and they will do an investigation. Pretty much i'm screwed. I have no way of proving I was there because they took my claim stub. I didn't check it out because they heard you like cattle and line up cars. (that's probably my fault, I should have known better). No one is going to admit to doing it because they will loose their job. This is BS, so now i'm stuck with probably $300 bucks worth of repair. I'm still going to call the office tomorrow and raise hell, in hopes that they will pay for it, but i'm not going to hold my breath.

I had them scratch the roof of my truck at Excalibur in Vegas one time. I didnt notice it until we were hours outside of the city. When I got home, we took pictures of it and then tried some Meguiars Scratch-X on it, which actually took the scratches right out of the paint. So we ended up not having to fight with them.

I thought about that, but the scratches actually took off some paint. I get to call them in an hour and raise hell. I figure if they aren't going to pay for it, I might as well give em hell.

Do you have any evidence you were at the HOB? Things like a credit card reciept or ticket stub? If you can prove you were there and that all they have is valet that might be enough. Not good but worth a shot.

I still have my concert ticket from being there. If you don't use the valet parking you have to find somewhere else to park, and that's a royal pain.

I am sorry to hear that happened. Keep us updated as to what is going on, like if you get to cover the cost of repair or not.

Hey Baggio, I know this is an old thread now, but you're still not too late. These guys are bonded through their contract at the HOB. I know this because they smacked my rental at the HOB in Orlando a few years ago. Call their office again and ask for the number to their bonding or insurance agency. They have to give it you by their contract with HOB without complaint. They can ask you why, of course, but they can't withhold it. The agency conducts the investigation (if they even think it's worth it). Best thing to do also is to go out and measure the height of the damage and measure the stucco where you estimate where the damage may have occured (before you contact the agency). Then, tell them you have corraborating evidence that suggests (and be very nice here) that the valet may have damaged your car. They should pay. Pm me and let me know how it goes.
