Lag times on orders

My step father requested a particular gift and we have been trying to get it for him. Unfortunately, it appears to be relatively hard to get now. Every website I go to has it back ordered or unavailable anymore. Those where it is back ordered say 4-6 wks to get it in....which is obviously past the holidays. My wife went down to pick it up in person today from a store where we knew they had them in stock, only to find out that they closed early today for some reason.

Now it looks like we will either have to take another journey down to get it OR order it and let him know that its coming.

Either way, this just sucks. Especially since its something that should not be hard to get and isnt rare in the least.

order it and let him know it's coming, and get him a little gift to tie him over. :)
