I've done something like that before but that was at an odd hour of the day. If you get up pretty early on the east coast you do get quite a window where you can be the only poster. But those said they were made at 2:00 pm. Shame on the rest of us for not posting anything else in the middle of the day for that long.

Hehehe...she gets into these modes where she posts in forums (here and other ones) and complains that nobody else is on when she is. :heh:

well it was almost 5 here where I live I was posting to get it done for the day before BJ got home and I had to cook dinner and take care of the kids. Plus I haven't really been one much latly so I needed to catch up. Just like I missed most of the day yesterday so I have to catch up again.

I'm sorry, and don't take this as a personal attack, but feeling like you have to post and have to catch up is just sad.

It's an internet forum. If you don't have anything better to add than I agree, thats cool, or some other worthless nonsense, don't post. There is no quota you need to fill. You don't gain respect because your rank goes up due to post numbers.

well as a stay at home mom this is my outside communication so that is why I feel I need to catch up. I like to feel like I am part of a group and this is it. I only comment if it is something I feel I need to say. I hate sometimes when I start a thread and just because one person says most of what anyone else has said so they don't say anything. If I was in a group talking I would at least say something to the extent of Oh I agree, and yes I love that. I don't post just to up my count, half the time I don't even realize how many posts I have. I forget to check. I am that way on a couple of boards. If I don't have something to say I jsut don't say it.

Oh and even if you think that is not a personal attack just to cover your butt it is. I don't care what your opinion is I also didn't ask for it. I guess it is time to leave this board for a while just so you don't think posting is all I am about.

You posted from Iraq or right when you got back. What made you feel like you had to do that? Probably the same thing that made her inclined to do so. I'm not bashing, just saying that they are pretty much the same.

True, because there were friends of mine (in real life I might add as well as on the board) who were concerned with my well being. I post in the threads that I feel I can add something informative, important or appreciative. I put up my own threads if I have a question or statment to make. Simple as that, and I find it hard to compare my postings to Mommy's flooding of the forums.

I did not however post in EVERY F*CKING thread on the front page just beacuse I'm "a stay at home mom" and have nothing better to do, like raising my children instead of feeling like I have to post to catch up!!!" Apparently the world will end if Mommy doesn't get her two cents in...

Ok...you're taking this too far now IrishSS.

You did personally attack her. If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't post in the thread. Simple as that.

And if you (as in anybody) don't have anything better to add than mindless babble, don't post in the thread. Simple as that. We can argue this all day long till we're all blue in the face...
