My toaster oven doesn't perform as well as when I first bought it. So I am searching for one which will accomodate a 12 inch pizza and possibly has a timer on it.
There are quite a few in various circulars right now, but practically every one has lousy reviews: Oster, Black and Decker, and I forget the other brand name.
Anyone have one that they like and would recommend?

On second thought, you could always go the route of buying any 'dual-core' Pentium processor.
It wont be a 1300 Watt Infrared cooker, but it'll be damn close.

If you do get a new toaster oven, I highly recommend one that is also a convection type. This means you can turn on the internal fan to circulate the hot air. This sounds simple, but it does WONDERS. I have revived day old french fries, KFC, pizza, etc. to their former crispy spendors with mine.

i was looking for convection type, but went with the panasonic infrared toaster oven as posted earlier. been using it for 2 years, its been great.
however you can only bake like a 9 in pizza in there, and it did turn out good.
Makes perfect toasts as well

I bought one of these....
Oster (http://www.oster.com/productdetail.aspx?id=227&cat=57)
and was pleased overall. Maybe not for a 12" pizza, but close. Then I stumbled in to a closeout on this....
Hamilton Beach (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002HDWNS/102-4942561-4604917?v=glance&n=284507)
The convection part is GREAT! I paid around $65 for it at Sams' Club, which was a killer deal. The thing is HUGE - larger than my microwave.
There is one problem with these big toaster ovens, while they are great as a small oven - they don't do toast worth a darn. So I went out and bought a cheap toaster. Duh!

I used my new Russell Hobbs convection oven today to bake a 9 inch frozen pizza. I am totally impressed. Thanks for recommending a convection oven.
