THe prices never go down on these. I got a ti-86 years ago for 100 now they are 120-150 the ti-83 plus is gettable for $70, did that twice and ebayed them for 90 each.

I got an 89 for $110 from staples.com shipped....they sent me an email saying I couldn't use the $40 off coupon, but I just wrote them back and they did it for me...try it...

sorry for the lateness of the reply, i forgot i posted in here...
I just told them I thought that if the coupon was supposedly only for catalog orders, there is no way it should go through their website. They couldn't claim a typo or anything in price, it was a valid coupon...there was no way they couldn't honor it, really. I mean, they could have just not, and its not like I would have fought it, but if you are polite but firm, and ask them to do the deal anyways, most of the time they'll do it just to get rid of you. Hope it works for you.

My math teacher told me the only reason he allows the use of a ti89 is because it is allowed on the AP Exam. They can do a lot of things that the 83 + and 86 cannot do.

You can also use it on the SAT's or acts

Not on the Acts or many others, the 89 is considered a computer.

oh haha, i just assumed it was the same on the acts and sats. Because you can use anyhting for the SAT's as long as it doesnt have a quertky keyboard.
