I feel for Tony and his family. The loss of a family member, especially a child, is nearly always a crushing blow. But this kid had some seeeerious issues.

HOLY SH*T Issues doesn't even begin to cover it. It is really hard to reconcile his myspace writings with what we know about his father. it just goes to show , once again, that even kids from good parents and good homes go bad . Having a son I call my cross to bear, I know the frustration his parents must feel. Mine is still alive but not because he hasn't tried every illegal thing there is that could do him in. Hopefully he has found the peace in death that he obviously couldn't find in this life.

I would be very hesitant to make such complete judgements based on just a MySpace profile. The images and information on there doesn't mean he "went bad". He could still have been a good kid, and just at the time in a rough patch in his young adult life.

My prayers go out to the Dungy family.

It was just bad verbiage on my part. When I said bad , I meant losing sight of where he was going and all the things he had to be thankful for. It is really sad that he felt he had nothing to live for. Although, I do think what he had on his profile was pretty intense in the wrong direction.

Myspace profiles don't necessarily represent a sincere depiction of the person. You can put whatever you want up there for shock value, humor or just ****s and giggles.

Thats true but combined with his committing suicide don't you think his profile says alot more than meets the eye?? The sex stuff was typical of a kid his age but the violent content ,I think, was pretty telling. But bottom line as I said before, It is sad that he thought death was his only option to solve whatever his perceived problems were.

Aren't they saying that it may have not been a suicide now?

As of last nights news I hadn't heard any different then suicide. For his parents mental state I hope it turns out to be accidental. But no matter the cause, he is still dead right before Christmas whick sucks .

it seems to me that myspace profiles more often than not represent the person.

"Preliminary autopsy reports indicate the 18-year-old committed suicide, but the cause of death won't be released until a toxicology examination is finished in four to six weeks, the medical examiner said."

They took down the link to the myspace site...probably for the best.
