I have my camcorder hooked up through the RCA inputs on my TV tuner card. I can use Power VCR, but it doesn't let you choose which codec you are using and gives you limited options. I will be using Premier Pro to edit the videos, but what applications can I use to capture them?

If I am not mistaken Premier Pro 1.5 has the capability to do capture as well. If not, then you could use Windows Movie Maker for the capture and then import to Premier.

:stupid: You can use Premiere or Windows Move Maker to capture the video.

I use the infamous video dub software. I like it because it's not over bloated with features I don't need but has good expanablity in Codecs and Filters. Of course the very minor drawback is it cant do mpeg-2 codec.
