Amazon.com has the Linksys BEFSR41 4-Port Etherfast Cable/DSL (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004SB92/1024/103-9175550-1285432) for $148.94.
They have a coupon where if you spend more than $100 on a electronics item, they will take $20 off - bringing the price of this excelelnt router to $128.94 (so its like $135 or something with shipping.)
The coupon code is: AMZNELECDEAL.

You could also pick it up from Buy.com for $149.95
http://www.us.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10235958&loc=101
add something like pencil lead, cat 5 cable, or a movie you wanted to get the extra .05 and use the $30 off of $150 (this expires 9/15) http://www.us.buy.com/retail/coupon.asp?prid=80332218
for a total of $119.95, plus shipping for the router and whatever else you buy, watch out though, they increase shipping drastically for items that are from their separate categories home and work - b@st@rds...:mad3:

As i was saying if i didn't have to pay tax on it that would be a good deal i can actually do better buying it from staples and using coupon than from buy.com and both places charge me tax but staples has no shipping cost..
i want an internet free from taxation all in favor say AYE!

Amazon.com doesn't charge tax if you in California, but the the shipping cost is $6.24 for the router.
Ars technica has a review on the router http://arstechnica.com/reviews/3q00/linksys/befsr41-1.html

Listen to Sandman's deal. With Buy.com's current free shipping deal, $119 is the price to beat. I've been waiting for a deal for this Linksys and the only thing that could make is better is if BrandsForLess comes through with another $29/$79 promotion (go to Buy.com through BFL, buy the item, and then fill out the forms for a BFL rebate).. but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
I'd go with the Buy.com deal.
Can anyone tell me/us how easy the Linksys was to set up?

Pretty simple plug it in, hook up your nic, log on to the hub set up password and ip settings for internet access. I also recommend downloading the latest firmware from their site after you get connected, it makes configuring the ports easier for use of Mirc and such. Some Cable and DSL providers are MAC addressable and use the MAC address for your NIC and may need the MAC address of the Linksys in order to work properly, just tell them you got a new compuer or something and it has a new MAC address(but they can figure out what is by the MAC address code given if they wanted too...).
