i was going through overstock.com and noticed that none of the memory foam toppers have any brand names. does it matter which one i choose? there are, i believe 2 - 2" memory foams that vary in price. which one do you recommend. being a member of this forum, im sad to admit, but i've often felt that "the more expensive, the better" on items i have no idea about. is there a huge difference from 1"-4"? which size would be the best and besides overstock, where is a good place to purchase memory foam? thank you.

None have brand names? Maybe they have different lb densities. Post links to both because most of us are far too lazy to look them up. My general rule of thumb is the firmer the mattress the thicker the pad. One thing to consider on non brand names is that most of them come from China where the manufacturing conditions are not as strictly controlled. It's going to be luck of the draw on if you get one that fits what you like.

i got a 3" memory foam topper from overstock. i have a super firm mattress and find the combo to be very comfy. i was so impressed with the topper that i bought a memory foam pillow (from costco, though).
