Luckily, I didn't go to the Peach Bowl...there might have been a one-man crime spree after the game. :disa:

Like Kejuan making the game changing touchdown here :)

I was hoping Colorado would get to play in the Holiday Bowl. That has always been an exciting game- probably the best non- BCS game. We had a real shot before we seriously tanked at the end of the season. Glad to see OU represent the Big 12 well. We picked up a new coach from Boisie State so we are rebuilding again. We did get another bowl, but it was not worth going to. We lost that game too to Clemson. I think Texas can beat USC. They have a better defense. Both offences can score a lot.

Good god it was a disgraceful day to be an ND fan...

The defense could not stop anything OSU threw at them.

That being said, OSU is a far better team than I had previously given them credit for. Their front seven did nothing but pressure the hell out of Quinn all night long.

I don't know if the incomplete pass call would have given ND a win, but it defintely was a turning point in the game.

I will say this... ND is always given a slightly better bowl game, and therefore a better opponent, than probably deserved because they draw the fans very well. I still think they deserved to be in the Fiesta Bowl, but damn did they face a good OSU team. OSU came out with a better gameplan and executed much better than ND.

My hats off to OSU... they played a great game and deserved to win.

Would Oregon have done better? With Clemens, maybe... but I think they would have lost much worse as they played against Ok...

All said and done, I had a great time at the game. My first ND game, Tempe's great weather... it was a hell of a time. Too bad they couldn't come away with a win.

one thing that impressed me was the speed of...ummm...what's the name of that fast defensive white guy on ND? he chased down ginn more than once and that's saying something.

Doesn't Notre Dame just need to lose in a Bowl game to Oklahoma State next year to make it a Trifecta of Losses to OSU's?

Tom Zbikowski... Sophomore FS. Pretty talented guy IMO... has a knack for always being around the ball, especially when it's loose. He always seems to come up with fumble recoveries and returns for huge gains or touchdowns.

Now if ND could just get some corners who knew how to play football...

i couldn't believe it when i saw him chasing down zinn. at 208, that's some pretty serious speed.

Well, to be fair, Ginn had run a good 60 yards, and Zbikowski was starting from a safety spot, so he was probably at least 10 yards off the ball at the snap...kinda like having a 10 yard head start. ;)

Wow.. I still don't think FSU should be playing Penn State but this game is really good haha. Triple Overtime!

Solid finish to that game. Thank God the Noles lost! Us Canes fans would never hear the end of it otherwise. :)

I did not enjoy the game as much b/c the kickers sucked so bad. Should have been over before OT.

Well, I'm all for that goal! Not because I want WV to lose the record, but because that would guarantee future ND bowl losses...assuming they make a bowl game again. (Let's not forget that even Willingham had a great first year)

FSU mostly, but I think we all agree on that one.

As I posted above, I still think ND deserved to be there. They just met a team that had phenominal speed on both sides of the ball and honestly, seemed to have a better gameplan.

The front seven on OSU's defense destroyed ND's O-line all day. ND just got their butt's kicked in every aspect of the game. If you don't have corners that can cover, you can't many teams, especially a good one like OSU. ND was able to hide their pass defense weakness (except the MSU and USC games, obviously) until the game against OSU...

Because they lost to a much higher ranked team (#3). :D

My only guess is because PSU played such a poor game that everybody thought FSU was just that good...

FSU - the only ranked team with 5 losses.

Not an FSU fan by any means but they basically ran toe to toe against a team who was ranked much higher than them (although IMO PSU is over-rated) with a team decimated by injuries and came pretty darn close to winning. Gotta give them points (or at least not take as many points away) for that.
