I play a lot of games on my computer. I have an Acer AL1912 19in lcd monitor currently. I have been offered a Dell 20.1 Wide Screen monitor for trade (equal trade, no $$ exchanged) from my parents. Which would be best for gaming, in your opinion? Thanks, and the links for both are listed below.

Your parents need an HDTV reciever/DVD player? ;) ;) ;)
I'd go with the Dell. I'm assuming it's a 2005fpw.

I will ask them! :)
Why did you say the Dell (that is what I am thinking), just because it is altogether better?

Yeah, pretty much, better contrast ratio, better response time, more pixels, IMHO better aspect ratio. If you could ask, I'd really appreciate that. thread with specs

If it's a wide screen 20.1" Dell, it's 2005fpw. :D
Get the Dell of course.

:stupid:
The Dell.
I use that one, and now that lots of games support widescreen aspect ratios, the display is amazing.

buddy of mine was rocking World of Warcraft on the widescreen resolution on the Dell, and it looked great!

I use a 32inch LCD as my monitor, and I'm still impressed with the widescreen dell LCD
