Tell me what you think of Eli Mannning's performance today, and how it makes you feel. :D

No Manning fan here, but I think the guy has a bright future. Also, the Chargers didn't exactly do incredibly well with their end of that trade either; they drafted a "franchise" QB and proceeded to leave him on the bench for 2 entire seasons. Now, they'll probably look to trade him away. :eek3:

I doubt they will trade him now. The last game injury to Brees reminded them of the value of having a good backup. Some people including Boomer Esaison think we need a new coach since the one we have couldnt win with the talent he as to work with.

:agree: :agree: :agree:
I am so glad Eli got knocked on his #ss(figuratively speaking). I agree that Marty ball needs to get the h*ll out of San Diego. Him and the offensive play caller. The 4 games that were lost right at the end of the game could have been won if the offensive plays had been called by someone with a few working brain cells. Just like last years playoff loss to NY. Bad, bad, play calling  And yes Boomer is right. If Schottenheimer can't win with the talent we had this year-he can't win period.

Eli looks and acts like he's 8 years old every time he is interviewed.

I understand the logic, but that's a bunch of cap money to be tied up in one position. Has Tomlinson gotten an extension yet? He'll be due a truckload too.
Only thing worse than what happened to Brees would be tearing an ACL this late in the year. Good thing that hasn't happened to anyone...oh wait, sorry Bengals fans. ;)

As a Charger fan, I was especially tickled to see the Gov & his kid on TV after their accident because little Schwartznegger was wearing a Chargers shirt!!!:winkie:

I say get rid of Marty...............hehe.........and get a better secondary, then the chargers will be in good shape! :)..Good to have a good second quarterback, but we could prob trade him for some good defense.
