Hi, I'm not fishing for legal advice, just your experience if you have any.
So I lend out a work truck to a business partner, known him for 4 years. The guy has disappeared, and I don't know where the truck is. Called him, emailed him, no response. So I'm getting ready to file a police report.
My question is, in the standard insurance policy, do they normally cover vehicles stolen by someone you know and gave permission to use the vehicle initially?
I have a big insurance payment coming up, and if they don't cover it, I will cancel the policy. Because I kind of procrastinated on this, I haven't been timely on my insurance payment. I don't want to call my agent to ask BEFORE I make the payment. I have 2 weeks till my policy will be cancelled.
So, any thoughts?
