I have a friend who wants a wireless keyboard. I remember the gen 1 logitech's would last maybe 3 weeks between the batteries would die. How are the new ones?

ummm...my batteries on my logitech bluetooth keyboard have lasted me for about 7 month now. And it's still running strong. I use my computer everyday also. I love logitech!

I have a logitech from about 2 years ago and I've probably replaced the batteries maybe 3 times max but close to 2 times since once I didn't use fresh batteries. My mouse on the other hand seems to be replaces every month.

I've had a Logitech Codrless Desktop Duo package for over two years now. I've never replaced the batteries in the keyboard. Mouse is a different story, however. I've had to replace the *rechargable* batteries in the MX700 several times. This is *very* dissappointing considering my MS Wireless Intellimouse at work is > 1 year old and I've only replaced the *alkaline* AAs in it once.

yeah, I havn't replaced the batteries in my logitech mx900 yet, but I do see the battery life is decreasing. I have to charge it more frequently.

I have the Duo as well, and for about the same time frame. I think I might have replaced the batteries in the keyboard once. The mouse I normally get about 3 months out of a set of batteries in it.

I get 3-4 months in my Microsoft wireless desktop elite. I use rechargeable Duracell batteries and it works out fine for me

I have had a single set of Energizer Max in mine since last winter, about a year now.
