I have a Barricade-G and I'm having a lot of trouble getting my DS to use it.
I can pirate other wireless in the area just fine, but mine won't connect, even with the firewall removed and the DS's MAC address added.
The error message that comes up tells me the DHCP server can't give my DS an IP, but it works fine with friend's laptops PDAs. Any ideas?

Nintendo's got a decent tech support site in regards to DS WiFi and supported routers/fixes.
http://www.nintendowifi.com/customersupport/supportedRouters.do
Check and see if you can find anything out on their site. They have 2 SMC routers listed but I didn't know which one yours might be.
You can also check here:

Good luck Bires. :)

Thanks, but I've been all around that site, which is why I know it's not my DS, but my router.
(I wonder if it's work resetting my router back to factory specs...)

the ds just doesn't like some routers, and dlink well....their routers just don't like some wifi's.

When I was setting mine up (with my Linksys WRT54g v5), I couldn't get a connection on the DS...until I realized that the config screen on the DS had more settings and I could scroll the screen down (making me feel like a tool). :heh:
Maybe that's it...?
I guess just double-check your settings if you haven't already (although I'm sure you have) and retry. If you keep having problems, I'd contact Nintendo's Tech Support and see if they can help you.
