A reason to go with Sirius instead of XM? :)

James Carville to Host New Sports Talk Show for XM Radio

XM Satellite Radio will launch in March 2006 a new hour-long sports-themed talk show hosted by Democratic political strategist, commentator and passionate sports fan James Carville. Carville, who is known for his "colorful" debate style, will co-host the program with Luke Russert, his regular off-air sparring partner for all things sports and son of NBC journalist Tim Russert.

The concept for the program was born from the heated exchanges between Carville and Russert during various Washington Nationals home games. This new show will feature the two discussing the top sports stories of the week with the same sense of humor and camaraderie experienced at the ballpark or at home.

He has got to be one of the most obnoxious guys ever. Even worse than Howard Stern.

Wait a minute...he is the guy who was working with Clinton..right?

Yes. And wow, this is as bad an idea as letting Rush onto the ESPN crew. At least it'll be radio, so you won't have to see Carville. That man has a face made for radio.

Haha, couldn't have said it better myself. He is a very skilled debater and is knowledgable about sports, especially college sports, but this is definitely a stretch. He is a regular on the Tony Kornheiser radio show.

he doesn't debate, he out talks people. He's just as bad as rush, and in fact, I'd love to see the two of them locked in a box together and dropped into the ocean.

But I don't dislike Carville too much. Knowing how much the two know about sports, and how friendly they could get on that level, I would watch a talking head show with Carville and Rush.

At this point, I'm not sure if I'd listen to a Carville-Russert show, but then I know little about their dynamics.
