Do you mean a $100 US bank note, silver certificate?
It's an older bill that was issued when the US backed it's currency with silver.

Depending on the year, seal, and condition of the bill it could be worth thousands of dollars... or $100.

It is worth exactly the value of one ounce of silver.

You mean it isn't real currency? If it's currency it has to be worth at least the face value. I've never seen that before. Way to encourage people to save, by making it too much of a hassle to spend. :shake:

EDIT: Not currency I guess. Worth...one ounce of silver like Grimm said.
