This happens to me...never knew it had a name....

======================================================

From my Centrum Vitamins trivia of the day email:

Did you know…

That sudden, mysterious, involuntary twitching you feel in your legs or arms when you're drifting off to sleep is known as a "myoclonic jerk."

Now you can tell your spouse that he or she was a "real jerk last night" and not hurt their feelings. :)

Giving it a name is not going to keep me from getting kicked in the shin.

I freaking hate when it happens. It's like having someone shake you awake.

I prefer the Kramer word...the jimmy legs. (And the add-on by Frank Costanza, the jimmy arms.) :heh:
I've got the jimmy legs...sometimes it happens at least. And yes...it's DEFINITELY annoying; its made me wake myself up before when it happens.
