I'm looking for a particular product. Its plastic, and cylindrical, and resembles an hour glass. There is a gel inside the plastic container, and you flip it over, and the gel drips through a hole into the other side, just as sand does in an hourglass. Can anyone tell me what this is called or where I can buy one? I had a teacher in elementary school that had one of these and in all these years i've only seen them at one gift shop which is now closed. Thanks

I remember those! They are called Wave Machines (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BU4SDO/qid=1138428948/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-4421852-5947914?n=507846&s=kitchen&v=glance) - google and you can find plenty of distributors

What rocket's describing doesn't sound like a wave machine (but probably similar non-mixing fluids involved). I've seen the "dripping" kinds of things at various times, but never seen a "name class" associated with them. I usually categorize them under "executive toys" - which can produce some results under google. Check out http://www.officeplayground.com/liquidmotion.html

i see stuff like that at the mall... any store that has stuff that falls in the category of "crap for pre-adolescent girls to decorate their rooms." dry ice, for example.
