There are some new DVD titles at Amazon that are discounted 50%. Each person has to make a choice if they believe Amazon now, but I did speak with their CSR and Specialist and things seem to be in order. But I have heard that before too. Some of these titles may be duplicates, I just am copy and pasting everthing I see on other boards.

Here they are:

Little voice

Escape from LA

Highlander
Medicine Man
Monty Pythons flying cirkus vol 8
Notting hill CE
Lethal weapon 2

Natural born killers

Devil girl from Mars
Fox and the hound
A little bit of soul
Jungle book
Leprechaun 5
Galaxy Quest
Snow falling on cedars

added:
Carnival of Souls - Criterion Collection
Orphic Trilogy - Criterion Collection

You sure??? Just checked The Silence of the Lambs - Criterion Collection (1991) and it is only 20% off...

However the Disney DVD Collection is $179.50 (50%)
which is a dollar more than at Costco

Same with Saving Private Ryan.

Who knows now what amazon does, it looks like they
can change their price at will and will not honor
any errors on their part.

Their prices and shipping are kinda high anyway, you can
usually find the same titles for less and with $1.95 shipping from 800.com or Express.com, granted there aren't as many gc's or coupons for these retailers, but it seems that amazon's prices reflect the fact that they expect the use of coupons. Just my opinion.

The "Exorcist - Limited Edition Collector's Set" that they advertise for "$39.99 - 50% off" (meaning it's like $80 originally) retails full-price at BUY.COM for $44.99.

Thanks but I'll pass. Amazon can burn in hell for all I care.

Seriously, though, Enter the Dragon box set is an absolutely amazing set. It's got a really good Bruce Lee documentary, with really neat footage like an audition film he did. I'm going to check out how much it is, my Playstation2 is going to need something to play on...

Yes, Geoff who runs DVDTalk.com has spoken to a reliable contact of his at Amazon.com, and the deal is good. While you can.
