Next Saturday. February 18. An old co-worker has gathered a group of us to go. However, we'd like some more people. Price is $25. We will be gathering at S.C. Village. They have rental markers and face shields available to those who do not already own them.

Most of the players are Beginner/Novices. I'd like to see a few of you come on out. I'll be there, and so should you.

ever since all the freakin lil kids got their SP Ion guns, it made no sense for me to step onto a field with my semi-auto Auto-mag. When i fire 8 shots per second they spray me with 15. WTF mate? And i don't have enough people anymore to book our own game :(

When did they start allowing full-auto guns on the field? I used to play ALOT, but even when the angels came out they still weren't allowed to shoot full auto.

there's nothing sporting about sitting behind a bunker spraying paint... that's just dumb.

no full auto still not allowed, but in semiauto mode they can shoot 15 shots fairly easyly

it's called ramping. newer markers cater to these kids' lack of skill by allowing them to shoot faster than their fingers allow. not technically full-auto but semi-auto..with a little help.

basically, if you're able to pull 4 or so balls-per-second for a sustained amount of time, the chip board will boost your firing rate up to 12-14+ bps. i hate ramping. i wanna invest in a pump marker just so i can play pump games... 'spray and pray' seems to be the name of the game nowadays.

I'm sick of the ions too, spray and pray is fo' sho' the method that most jerks use. I think I might get a palmer nasty typhoon or houndstooth and play pump. Or just drop some cash for a blazer so I can outshoot the litte twerps, but then again I'm not too fond of speedball. Milsim/woodsball is much more fun to me.

Yeah, I've been noticing that trend. I just got into the sport to find that the popularity of it has kinda soured the sport.

Sorry, one paintball a month is the max my body can take.

All I've got is a little spyder. Nothing too hardcore for me: expansion chamber & remote system. I've got a 2" longer barrel than stock. I'm a minimalist.
