how are you feeling today?

we got about 4" of snow over night and the air is so clean and so fresh smelling. it's warm, clear, and bright out right now. by warm i mean just about 30F. this is my favorite kind of winter day.

I was happy last night until I had to drop my friend off at his friend's house. Basically my buddy Tyrone lives in Japan with his fiancee Emiko, and he's been in town for about a week. I got to hang out with him and play some games (Street Fighter) on Saturday for a little, and he came over yesterday so we could play more stuff (Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Rival Schools, Capcom vs. SNK 2). I had to drop him off last night 'cause he's leaving tomorrow to go back to Japan.

I was really bummed out last night 'cause he's my best friend and this is the first time I've seen him in about 2 years and the last time I'll see him for another 3 months. Needless to say...last night just frickin' sucked. My wife felt so bad that I was so depressed but basically I was because I don't really hang out with or get to see any of my friends anymore. *sigh* :(

I'm a little happier today 'cause it's Valentine's Day and I look forward to going home and giving Valerie a hug and kiss but...I'm still down in the dumps as a whole. :disa:
