Thanks for the post. I was about to buy one of these earlier today. So lucky I ordered it now :).

The unit was $97.50. Damn CA tax though, total came out to just over $111 with 2nd day air ($6). The only other cheaper shipping is Ground which was $5.

The only thing I'm worried about is it says MP3 must be sampled from 32-196kbps and I'm using VBR on a lot of the MP3s I make, so I may have to redo like 3,000 MP3s again! Doh!

Also, I'm not sure if it supports CD-RW or not, but who cares with media costing like $0.10 per disc now!

It does read both CR-R's and RWs. It must be written in Mode1 format on the CD btw

Why can't we just buy the accessory kit and get the mp3 player for free? That would be a better deal. heh
