So, I got my Amex Blue statement yesterday, and in it there is a policy change notification. Part of it says that Amex will no longer give price-match protection for Internet offers. This means that the only price protection they offer is for print ads.
I recall one of the big draws when Apex advertised this card was the price protection (find the same item for cheaper online up to 90 days after and Amex would refund you the difference) however, this is no longer the case.
Just FYI.

That's the only reason I got this card...
I guess it's time to cancel and get a real crefit card.

Thankfully I just bought my new CPU and hard drive recently! The Internet price protection guarantee ends on 12/1 so let's all go nuts with it!! (I'm putting in for my CPU this week and the hard drive's time comes in about a month...)

I don't have this card, so this doesn't affect me, but if you enrolled and signed a contract based on certain terms, aren't you grandfathered when it comes to this?

I don't think so. Most credit cards' only contract is the usual 'you agree to pay us and you have X days to do it or we charge you outrageous interest, and if you still don't pay us we come for your children, your dog and anything else we want... AND you pay the legal bill'). All "advantages" can be changed and usually are after a while. Usually they're either removed or weakened to the point that they might as well be removed.
Can't tell I loathe CC companies, can you?
