Getting A LOT of spam from gmail account

Hi everyone,

For some reason, I am now receiving 100+ spam emails a day!! Not sure what happened. No one has this account and I use my old yahoo for all sign ups.

Tried setting up filters and that just reduced the mails by 10, if that.


Is there something anyone can suggest besides changing my screen name?

Is the spam addressed directly to you? Or are you just in a blind list?

Technically, you could set up an Outlook rule to move non direct mail to a junk folder or straight to deletion if it gets to be a major problem. OE can also remove the file from the server when it downloads if you should so choose.
