Pic Of The Day: Arched Arboreitum

Balboa Park. The Arboreitum houses their plant collection including ferns, orchids, cacti and venus flytraps. I was going to try some flower pictures but it was too dark yesterday. It is most often photographed with the reflection pond in front of it, but I saw this view while coming up to it from another angle. It was overcast so there were nice soft shadows and not too much contrast between the various items in the picture. I still lightened some of the shadows with Photoshop Elements.
