Pic of The Day: Artists Villiage

Another Balboa Park atraction for those with an artistic bend. It is a group of colorful cottages (and as you see even the paving stones are colorful!) with all kinds of artists- pottery, sculpture, painting, glass works, jewlery, even the gem and mineral club is here. You can watch the artists work on projects. I always seem to miss the glass blower in action. Want a picture of that. It is just south of the entrance for the Zoo and a couple of blocks up (north) from the Natural History and Science Museums.

I thought it was more boring without anyone in it so I waited for someone to come by and the lady on the bike did. It gives you a focus point.
