Woot, in 3 hours I leave for Central America. Where for 2 weeks I'll be working on a research project. That time will be spent in Honduras and Nicaragua. After that I'll be flying over to Costa Rica for some R&R.

It's suppose to be the start of Rainy Season, but hopefully I'll get some good tanning in.

Sitting in an Internet Cafe in Nicaragua. A few things strike me when compared to Zambia.
1. Less ExPats means a wee bit less development in the major cities
2. Overall Nicaragua is as high above Zambia as US is above Nicaragua
3. The problems of Nicaragua are largely government ones, fix government and the economy starts a normal boom.
4. Tourism is a growth place for all underdeveloped countries. To boost tourism better police are necessary.
