Lawful Good Halfling Paladin
You Are A:
Chaotic Neutral Halfling Bard
Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral characters are unstable, and frequently insane. They believe in disorder first and foremost, and will thus strive for that disorder in everything they do. This means that they will do whatever seems 'fun' or 'novel' at any given time.
Race:
Halflings are short and fat, like minuature people. (Think 'Hobbits') They enjoy the easy life, but aren't averse to the idea of an adventure from time to time. They get along with all races, and are known for their senses of humor. Halflings also tend to be light of foot, and can move quietly when necessary.
Primary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in

Primary Class:
Barbarians live outside the 'civilized' They have tribal goverments, and are often nomads. What they may lack in refinement is balanced by there strength of individual character and ability to survive.

Lawful Good Dwarf Fighter
Alignment:
Lawful Good characters are the epitome of all that is just and good. They believe in order and governments that work for the benefit of all, and generally do not mind doing direct work to further their beliefs.
Race:
Dwarves are short and stout, and easily recognizable by their well-cared-for beards. They are hard workers, and adept at stonework and engineering. They tend to live apart from other races; generally in deep, underground excavated systems, and as such tend to be distant from other races.
Primary Class:
Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.

Chaotic Neutral Elf Barbarian
Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral characters are unstable, and frequently insane. They believe in disorder first and foremost, and will thus strive for that disorder in everything they do. This means that they will do whatever seems 'fun' or 'novel' at any given time.
Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

boy, don't even GIT me started :P (too late, of course.)
diplomacy, gathering information, also some good thieving and magicky skills later on, doesn't have to be a schlump when it comes to melee, either, if you have the foresight to put a big number in strength and pick some good weapons-oriented feats.... basically, not much use if your stats are low-ish, but if you've got a couple of 18s and at least two other stats 15 and up, you've got some good raw material for a useful bard ;)

Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Lightning bolt! Lightning bolt!c'mon, a little perspective here!
A strength of 16 or 17 would be about equivalent to somewhere between a large dockworker and a professsonal FB lineman, and combined with that dexterity and constitution, you could also be a pro boxer. Is this what you're trying to tell me?
A 17 intelligence is equivalent to a 140-150 IQ, and a wisdom of 13 is well above average.

Actually, my IQ tests have always scored around 145.
You're right about strength. I went back to the ol' players handbook and compared to my lifting charts and I'd fall around a 15. (That's still damn good, so leave me alone.)
I probably overshot the dex a bit too, but I haven't taken a sick day in 3 years, so I'm sticking to my "Con" guess.
What can I say, I had an optimistic DM when I played. It's not my fault you got screwed with crappy dice rolls. :D

bwahahahahaha... :heh:
damn, i guess i need to knock a point off my int... that was my one shot at being nearly super-human. oh, well. i think i'm about right on the strength, tho. i couldn't dead-lift more than 90 lbs even with a magic missile aimed at my head :P
at cadetevon... you have six stats, between 3 and 18 (more or less if you are cursed or magically enhanced) that determine how well you can perform various tasks in the game. they are: intelligence, wisdom, charisma, dexterity, constitution, and strength.

Other races and creatures' get adjustments due to physical and mental advantages and disadvantages.
A score of 9 or 10 would be considered average for a human. 18 means you've reached the maximum potential for a human.
The scores are also based on a bell curve, with the vast majority of individuals having scores between 7 and 14.
An 18 strength would be equivalent to a successful power lifter, an 18 intelligence would be Einstein, Newton, or MC Hawking. A 3 intelligence is mentally handicapped.
