I can certainly think of cases where one or the other can not be used, but if I look back over the past year I have used Super Glue more than my Duct tape.

Duct Tape for me. I always seem to make a mess with the super glue.

Depends. If your glasses are broken and you need a quick fix, superglue (duct tape would look horrible). However, if a heating/cooling duct is loose and you need a fix, then slap the gray stuff on it and wrap that sucker up!


Duct Tape for me. I always seem to make a mess with the super glue.


Poor applicator dexterity. Sounds like a personal problem to me...

super glue is more subtle and elegant. its not as brash and blatant like duct tape is.

Depends on what is broke...

Wood, plastic, or metal... DUCT TAPE

Glass, ceramic, or china... Superglue. :D

We need a "both" option. :hmm:

I was on US Army airplanes which were literally being helped along with Duct Tape... Duct Tape gets my vote.

I've also used gum and Duct Tape to patch a small hole in my canoe and in the gas tank of my ooooold Mazda B2000. LOL

I'm a Duct tape fangirl.
