...yup, child #3 is on the way!
Confirmed yesterday. Looking at a late Sept, early October due date. Since we've already got one boy and one girl, I'm up for either this time around. I just hope and pray for a healthy child. :thumb:
After this, we're definitely done. I'm down for the snip-snip, if that's what it takes. Guys like WhiskeyPapa, I don't know how you do it...
Suggestions for a name from anyone? Sorry, but the wife already ruled out Apex. ;)

in honor of the subject:
PREGNANCY Q & A
Q: Should I have a baby after 35?
A: No, 35 children is enough.
Q: I'm two months pregnant now. When will my baby move?
A: With any luck, right after he finishes college.
Q: What is the most common pregnancy craving?
A: For men to be the ones who get pregnant.
Q: What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
A: Childbirth.
Q: The more pregnant I get, the more often strangers smile at me. Why?
A: 'Cause you're fatter than they are.
Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
A: So what's your question?
Q: My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A: Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air current.
Q: When is the best time to get an epidural?
A: Right after you find out you're pregnant.
Q: Is there any reason I have to be in the delivery room while my wife is in labor?
A: Not unless the word "alimony" means anything to you.
Q: Is there anything I should avoid while recovering from childbirth?
A: Yes, pregnancy.
Q: Do I have to have a baby shower?
A: Not if you change the baby's diaper very quickly.
Q: Our baby was born last week. When will my wife begin to feel and act normal again?
A: When the kids are in college.

Luca Dominic..for a boy..sadly, I won't be needing them anymore..
and might I add that when I saw TRIFECTA I got excited because I thought this was a horse racing thread..LOL..(yes, that season is coming up quickly-I'll post my predictions as soon as the season opens)

we're going through names right now.
the boy and i all have the same initials. acb. so we're looking for more in case it's a boy. if it's a girl we might go with lauren something. still a ways off tho'.

Nothing that's taken the lead. We're going to find out if it's a boy or girl ahead of time though, so we should be able to start narrowing things down in the next few months.
Family names, both first and middle, that will always merit consideration (in no particular order):
Kenneth
Charles
Emma (wife like this one)
Nash
Catherine (or Katherine)
Troy
Barbara
Lee
Our son's name is Jacob Michael, using my great grandfather's name (as well as mine). Those two are probably off the books as of now...
How about you? I like Lauren, fwiw. Another female name I like is Shannon...

Didn't know you were the gambling type. If you ever had a G/A meet at the track, count me in...:hihi:

Well, it's official:
We're having another son.
That makes 2 boys and 1 girl, and officially puts me on vasectomy watch. I don't see any scenario where we decide we might want to do a 4th.
Let the name choosing begin. We've already got a couple of favorites lined up...

Last year I missed a Superfecta on one of the triple crown legs because I STUPIDLY transposed my fourth choice with my alternate 5th horse..had I left it alone I would have won hundreds of thousands of dollars..sadly, my fourth choice that because my alternate, actually came in fourth as I originally picked and my original alternate came in first on the daily double on the next race..I totally screwed myself.
You will find me at Saratoga most weekends in August. I'm a HUGE Horse racing fan..
I will be posting my final Kentucky Derby picks shortly...but here's a tip for ya..Lawyer Ron looks good in the top 3, along with Brother Derek and Barbaro..I say go for a superfecta boxed and add Blue Grass Cat in there and see if it pays off..
Trifecta-Lawyer Ron, Barbaro and Brother Derek. Box it just to be safe.

Looks like endgame is here. Wife is starting to dilate, trying to get her lined up for early next week...being induced. Still not locked in on a name yet, though. ;)
First Cheapie...Hoey is still coming too. Must be in the G/A Kool Aid.

After being married 5+ years, some people were starting to wonder if something was wrong. Once we started trying, it didn't take long at all. I knew my swimmers were good, but Mrs. Kevster was the variable we weren't sure of (now we are!).
As for names, I know the following:
1st son: Patrick Peter
2nd son: Michael Francis
3rd son: Dennis Galvan
1st Daughter: Anna Eileen
2nd Daughter: Erin Maureen

congrats!!!
On the naming thing... I don't think i'll ever give my kid a name that 10+ pages worth of people have in the yellow pages. I'd want it to be unique, not in a make-fun-of-you-till-your-scarred-for-life kinda way, but something with personality.
On that note, have you considered "hapoo"? :P j/k
I already have a girls name ready to go. Can't find a good boys name though.

sweet! very cute. what are the stats?
Wednesday, May 20th.
Born at 5:05P. 7 lbs, 15 oz. 20 1/2 inches long.
Everyone is doing great. He's eating well, sleeping well. I'll say this for my wife: she is absolutely fantastic with the little, little ones. Never gets flustered, is very calm, very soothing to them. She's already got him on a schedule; he eats about every 3 - 3 1/2 hours, which means he's only up twice at night. Even then he eats and goes right back to sleep. With Jake, she had him sleeping through the night at 3 months. Looking like Troy is going to be the same way.
Tiff and Jake are doing very well with him. No jealousy issues (yet), but we weren't exactly expecting them. Jake is 4, Tiff is 10, and they both get enough time with us as is. They're also both in school, which gives them an additional outlet as well.
