have things really improved when it comes to taking stuff (packing) for a trip compared to the 80's?
lets me clear this up a little maybe. in the 80's when you would take a road trip you pack a suitcase of clothing or bag and camera, map, cooler and this or that. today when you go on a road trip you pack a suitcase of clothing or bag and camera, and this or that. but you also make the load of stuff heavier and more. now you're taking a laptop & bag, gps system. a print out of directions from mapquest. a cell phone, maybe a radar detector, 12V to 110V power converter, Ipod and game boy. portable dvd player to keep the kids content on the road.
so have things really got better? when you think about all the extra baggage you're taking with you on a road trip?
