I've got a little bit of bonus money left over and I'm thinking of spending it on an MP3 player. I've got around $200 to spend.

Here's what I want:

At least 2 GB of free space
Flash memory STRONGLY preffered to a hard drive.
I'd prefer a rechargable battery to the "just throw away your AAA" players.
I'd prefer a replaceable battery when it goes bad 18 months from now, as well.
FM band is a plus
Voice recording is a plus
i'm not a big fan of the bandwagon, so if the name doesn't start with a lowercase 'i', I'm all for it.

I'm not sure if I want video yet. Is it worth waiting another few months for more players to have this?

This little guy came on sale but he's only getting fair reviews, and doesn't do video, voice or FM:

Got any suggestions?

The Creative Zen Neeon 2GB seems to meet all your wants. Too bad it has not been released the the US. It can be found on Ebay for about $200 through Singapore sellers.

Thanks!

It looks like they released a 5GB version for the US for $200, although there's no video.

The 5 gig model uses a HD while the 2 gig is flash.

can't look away from all players that start with an "i".

the iRiver players are pretty nice players.
