It would help if you let the ladies know where the guy is located so they can assess whether it's worth starting a relationship with him.

I'd like to think for all the 14 year old girls dating 20+ year old men (who should be looking for their own home & family)

There would be some older women interested to compensate the rediculous nature of the situation.

Tell your co-worker he would probably have better luck with a high school teacher, however be sure & list the risks... news, media, legal troubles, etc.

All of the usual things that tend to annoy & disturb us in any hipocricy-loaded scenario.

when i was 30 i dated a guy who was 22... it worked out great for 3 years, had lots of fun, he was cool... until he cheated on me with a younger woman , cant say all younger men would do the same, thats was just my experience... plus the younger they are, the harder it is to find common interests, especially is social situations.

to actually add my $0.02 on the subject, i think there is a certain age gap beyond which people should not attempt to explore. when there's too much of an age difference, one party almost always ends up using the other, whether intentionally or not, and someone inevitably gets hurt. i think 10 years is pushing the envelope in regards to this age boundary, but hey, if both parties understand that it's a fling and that the chances of "true love" blossoming from it are slim to none, then hey, more power to them.

I'm almost 30 years old but I have the maturity of a 20 year old... is that good enough for your friend?

I agree with the max age difference, and I think it's possible to be too close together too. IMO I think 4-7 years is the sweet spot age difference that helps promote long term interest in a person without being so far apart that things can get awkward. Short term, any age can be fair game as long as it's legal.
