Pamplona Bull Run

Has anyone ever been to the San Fermin festivals in Pamplona and run with the bulls? I'm going to Europe this summer and had originally thought of going to Italy but found out 2 of my cousins are living in Spain. Sine I speak Spanish and would have a place to stay it seems like a better option. Plus, I'm determined to run with the bulls at least once in my life. If anyone has gone, any tips?

Ya, if I really end up going I'll probably try to watch how fast people ho on the first couple days or so and see if I can actually keep up. I definitely wouldn't want to be trampled haha.

I hope you do get to go as I'm pretty curious about. From what I've seen on television and all it looks like you only run a few yards and then bail out to the side. It does not look like you run a great distance in front of them. Which makes sense because they would catch up to you eventually.

Ya, the only thing standing in my way really is the fact that I have to secure a job before I vacation this summer. I have to find a job and then make sure they're cool with me not starting until the end of July or August. I'd most definately take pictures if I went though :)
