I need a new pair of shoes. Basically I use them in the gym, on the bike/stairstepper/weights (sometimes treadmill too, but I don't do more than walk).
These seem like a pretty good deal. Are they a good shoe for me?

I also see that Reebok has a 40% off coupon for their outlet stores this weekend. Any Reebok shoes that would be better?

Almost any crosstrainer will be fine for you, assuming you don't have any shin/knee problems. Shox are cool looking, and they're not bad shoes (I have a pair), but if all you're looking for is cheap, there's a lot of cross trainers that would be fine, and they'd cost less than the Shox.
Still, if you want a shoe that looks cool, too (and ain't nothin wrong with that!), go for the Shox.

I buy all my shoes at Big 5 Sporting Goods. They have a continual sale...many shoes that they normally sell for $60, $70, and up on sale for as little as $19.95. Each of their stores her in Southern California have different stock on sale...you almsot have to go in each week to see what they have left over on sale.

:agree:
Shox are no joke. The difference between them and a regular pair-o-shoes is pretty noticeable.
With that said, it's probably worth taking that 40% coupon and checking out the Reebok outlet. I'm sure they have something that is at least close in quality to the Shox, and it probably won't leave a shock to your wallet.

...also worth noting that the ladies do dig the Shox. :)

like IAHAD mentioned, pretty much any cross-trainer will do you right. they usually provide a good combination of cusioning and lateral support to accomodate various exercise activities. it used to be that Nike had the market cornered on cushioning, because nobody could come close to their Air system. but nowadays, most of the big name companies have done well catching up, and they all have some pretty nice shoes.
as for style, i can't really make any recommendations because i don't know your style. however, it's usually the case that the flashier shoes are more expensive, and you can typically get a less flashy shoe with just as good support/cushioning for much less money, if subtle is more your thing.

If that's not a recipe into a woman's pants, I don't know what is.
By the way, if you're looking for an absolutely weird cross trainer, go with the Nike Free trainer. So odd. It really does feel like you're barefoot. Not recommended if you're injury prone, though.
