NSS: Surprise Bonus

My boss walked into my office today and told me I was getting a bonus . . . equivalent to about 10% of my salary . . . to be added to my paycheck for March.

Total surprise.

I knew I got a "13th month" for X-Mas, but had no idea there was a chance for a further bonus.

Not half bad! Add this to the refunded insurance premiums I'll be getting and the tax refund I'm expecting, and I'm getting a pretty nice little one-time cash influx . . . sweet . . . more travel funds!! :)

Hmmm . . . I wonder if now I could actually somehow afford to find a World Cup ticket?? Probably not . . . bah!

Now I just need to hope I don't get sick (or worse) . . . given that I'm temporarily uninsured now, I would be screwed royally!

On a separate note, I watched the USA vs. Germany soccer friendly at a bar last night . . . can't wait until the World Cup. Things are going to be crazy here. Hopefully Germany makes it deep into the tourney . . . it will keep things very interesting!

Football games are so much fun over there. If you get to go, make sure you get a standing area ticket. The crowds there are really cool.
