I have the MSI version. It's a great card. The image quality from the component output is excellent.

s-video to component? interesting. that doesnt sound like HD, though. i dont see how the signal can upconvert the resolution.... but then again i havent been up to speed with video cards in years...

maybe DVI to component out...

It's not. They don't. Look closely at the back plate. The snake is a multi-cable with S-Video and three RCAs for the component RGB.
