how to stop dial up networking dialogue box from popping up?

i have my cell phone as a bluetooth partner to my laptop which it sees as a dial up networking connection. the dial up dialogue box randomly pops up when i'm on the net, particuarly if i'm on a wireless network with poor signal. how to i stop that? i only want it to pop up when i specifically want to connect via the cell phone.

Go to your Internet Options tab under Tools in IE and select Connections, then click the box to "never dial a connection".

That should fix the problem of the pop up... then put an icon on your desktop that has the connection from your cell phone service for those times when you do want to connect.
