View Full Version : Trying to remember the name of a TV show from my childhood

It was a Japanese show from the 70's I think, from around the same time as UltraMan. This kid had a whistle, and there was a family of three "heroes" - a child, a mother, and a father. The kid would blow his whistle once to call the child, twice to call the mother, and three times to call the father. They wore matching costumes/uniforms. I'm pretty sure they were robots. I think they turned into rockets so they could fly. That's about all I can remember. Darn 30 year old memories anyway.

Anyone have any ideas?

Not too sure. The only 70's japanese cartoons that I remember were Transzor Z and Speed Racer as well as Kimba... Do post the cartoon you are looking for

That show was one of the "after school" joys of my chiildhood... right up there with Ultraman, Godzilla, StarBlazers, and Battle of the Planets.

Life was MUCH simpler then... UP YOURS POWER RANGERS!!!! :heh:

Man I barely remember that show. The pictures looks familiar but I can't tell you a lick about it. Man...and I thought I was old. lol. :P
