Was something just - weird?

I got a database error for awhile and then requests timed out. I don't think I've ever seen that happen on the forums before :eek:

I got the database error, too. And, things seem to be slow as molasses even now.

Perhaps it had something to do with the closing of the Political Forum. The admins might have needed all topics out of use in order to make their changes to OT for Political.

Before the db error, Political showed CLOSED, but I couldn't see any of the old threads. Now I can see the old Political threads, they just can't be posted in.

I'm not a DBA, just a thought.

Not sure what happened but it was down for a bit. Seems all fixed now and is fast for me. :)
