Pic Of The Day: Rule of Thirds

One easy rule to try to make your picture look good is the rule of thirds. Divide the picture in thirds and put your subject at or near one of the lines instead of just in the middle. This is just a very simple picture of a plant, but by following the rule of thirds, it is made more interesting.

Thanks for the instructions - now if only I could get the subjects to quit standing in the middle of my viewfinder! :)
