Last week, GAM sent out some PM's and changed it to a "special members only" forum. It's definitely a little more quiet since that happened. I find myself posting much less there now. I'm feeling it's a little too exclusive. GAM should at least let everybody read, if not post in, the threads.

Man, I'd like to get in on that. Mostly I liked to just read, and usually only posted if I had a question. I actually learned quite a bit and changed my mind on a couple issues based on the discussions.

Wonder what the qualifications are: Not willing to ruffle any feathers? If so, then it just becomes another politically correct forum, with no real significant discussions.

For some reason I'm just not cool enough for the political forum. :disa:

Last week, Japanese scientists explaced... placed explosive detonators at the bottom of Lake Loch Ness to blow Nessie out of the water. Sir Godfrey of the Nessie Alliance summoned the help of Scotland's local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake and its local residents and all those who seek for the peaceful existence of our underwater ally.

Yeah, hopefully it will come back someday. Then again, you're probably being sarcastic, right?

H <---wishes we had sarcasm tags, and also misses the Poli forum

Actually no. I liked reading the PF, even when people were complaining or flaming. People need to have thicker skins. I guess if the world were as smart as I.... :P

:stupid: If you filter out and ignore the baiting, flaming, and name calling then you could see what the issues are and see the other POV...not necessarily agreeing with the other POV but at least understanding.

Man...I missed that big picture of where our taxes go. Oh well...maybe it's an extended April Fools...maybe we can get it back as a Xmas or Holiday present.

Or you could just beg the GAM to give you access like me. The filters are a bit annoying, any names of political figures after 1900 will be censored, but with strategic use of smiley's we're actually having a flaming debate of about tax ****** and *oci** sec*rity right now. It's good to be able to vent.

Liar. Wizards haven't lived in Scotland since the 1700s. They all moved to Ireland.

I would like to think it was in the same direction, but after reading what you wrote about the Karate Kid, I'm not so sure I can trust your judgement any more.

I saw a third comment was posted, but that comment page doesn't seem to work. I just get a blank blue screen.

But assuming you did recant your blasphemous comments, I'll let it slide. This time.:hmm:

Perfectly reasonable to have a man-crush on Ralph Macchio. That's all I'm sayin.
